“Usage instructions
-When first used, fill it with water for 6 hours to ensure that dust comes out. Then empty it and it will be ready for use.
– It must be filled with filtered / drinking water bottles only, never fill with tap water.
– You can put large stones of Himalayan salt to increase minerals (optional)
– You will notice small drops of water on the pot, which is normal due to the natural filtration property of the clay, so it is preferable to place a towel or tray underneath.
-Water dropping will be strong at first and becomes less with use.
-It is preferable to fill the pot at night and allow water in it for at least 8 hours to get the benefit of clay properties.
– For maintenance, it must be washed weekly, and scrubbed vigorously with a stiff brush, inside and out, using water only or diluted white vinegar solution. Never use soap or any other detergent.
– When the pot is not cleaned regularly, that will clog the pores, therefore stopping the filtration process.
-This Pot is designed to last for decades if it is handled carefully and cleaned periodically.
