Bay leaves are harvested from the Madon Mountains in Italy at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. They are harvested manually and dried under the sun according to the old traditional method, to ensure their benefits and aroma are preserved for the longest period. It is used as a spice in cooking to add a delicious flavour. It removes exhalation and also enhances the nutritional value of meals because it contains many vitamins and minerals, and they are also used to expel mites if placed in bags of grains and pulses.
