Organic Bancha Tea is made from green tea leaves.
It differs from other teas as it is relatively low in caffeine, with only 10 mg per cup. The leaves are roasted three to four times, giving the tea a unique aroma and distinct flavor, as well as therapeutic properties. In macrobiotic philosophy, it is considered a “Yang” tea, which helps balance the effects of sugars and starches in the body and counteract extremely “Yin” foods.
Bancha tea also helps to increase blood alkalinity, is rich in iron and calcium, and strengthens bones.
It can be consumed daily to boost energy and reduce cravings for sugary foods.
